SVdP CEO Shannon Clancy wins Nonprofit Executive of the Year
By Marisol Saldivar
The wins are sweeter when they're shared — that was the humble and beautiful message from St. Vincent de Paul's Shannon Clancy, the Rob and Melani Walton Endowed CEO, as she accepted the 2026 Nonprofit Executive of the Year Award on behalf of "Team SVdP" and the greater community of organizations making a difference together in Arizona.
The recognition came from the Phoenix Business Journal at the media outlet's 10th annual Corporate Philanthropy Awards held Oct. 15 at the Chateau Luxe Event Venue in Phoenix.
The event honors Valley companies leading the way with their charitable efforts and making a tangible difference in the world. Phoenix's most generous, community-minded and innovative company leaders are selected by a panel of judges as finalists in the Nonprofit Executive of the Year category.
"Our work at St. Vincent de Paul to feed, clothe, house and heal is a giant team sport," Shannon said, "and I am so blessed to work alongside some talented and committed staff, volunteers, donors and partners — many of them in this room — as we all pool our gifts, talents, expertise and heart to be able to care for people when they need us most."
