Serve meals to families in need
What is it all about?
Hunger and food insecurity continue to rise in Arizona. SVdP’s Family Dining Room is a thriving place where families experiencing financial and food insecurity can come for a hot, nutritious meal and a supportive community. Families are also offered resources such as food boxes to take home along with other necessities and connections to additional services. When you visit us to serve or be served, it’s rarely just about eating. Volunteers create an experience many of us take for granted, and opportunity to be served in a restaurant-style setting, treated with love, dignity, and compassion. Bellies and hearts are filled across the Valley through our five dining rooms where 7,000 nourishing, hot meals accompany our hospitality every day.
