Join our Turkey Tuesday drive to bring Thanksgiving to every table!
As the holiday season approaches, many families are feeling the strain of rising costs and recent partial SNAP cuts affecting over 900,000 Arizonians. But when our community comes together, there’s nothing we can’t overcome, especially when it comes to making sure every family can enjoy the comfort of a Thanksgiving meal.
In Arizona alone, over 1 million people face food insecurity, meaning they don't have access to enough food to meet their needs. And worse yet, more than 291,000 of them are children.
To address this need, 12News is partnering with AJ's Fine Foods, Bashas’ and Food City for the annual Turkey Tuesday drive benefitting St. Vincent de Paul. Together we're working to ensure every family has the chance to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal and stay fed this season, regardless of their circumstance.
What better way to meet the increased need than with the largest one-day turkey drive in the nation! This year, Turkey Tuesday is on Nov. 25, but online and grocery store PINpad donations are available all month long to help support the drive. Here's how your donation adds up:
- $20 will provide a turkey for a local family in need
- $50 buys a holiday food box for a family with a turkey and all the sides and fixings

- In-store donations: Make a monetary donation at the register of your local Bashas', Food City and AJ's.

On Turkey Tuesday, Nov. 25
- Donate a frozen turkey: Visit your local Bashas' and Food City to donate a frozen turkey. SVdP food pantry volunteers will be stationed at every store to take your donation back to the nearest SVdP pantry.
